Today In this Logitech Harmony 665 review I am going to talk about a universal remote control that breaks the norm as far as remotes are concerned. In my honest opinion, not only is this the best universal remote in its price range, it is also one of the best on the market.
In this Logitech Harmony 665 Review, we cover the features and benefits of this remote, as well as the drawbacks to help you decide if it’s right for you.

For all gadget fans who have a plethora of remote controls at home, the Logitech Harmony Remote Control is the best in this category. You can control a range of smart home devices, control 8 devices and manage up to 50 favorite channels. The bright color screen simply displays your favorite channel icons and commands, and you can manage over 50 of your favorite channels and control 8 + devices.

A universal remote control with control of up to 15 components, with a range of smart home devices and control over 50 favorite channels and 8 devices.

The Logitech Harmony Elite is the package included, so the 665 stands for itself, but is also called a supported unit. It works on the same operating system as the Harmony Hub required for the log, and therefore requires a LogiHarmony Hub.

The Logitech Harmony 665 is a good choice for those who do not need a smart home control but can control devices over a wireless connection (as opposed to Bluetooth or Wi-Fi).

In simple words, the Logitech Harmony is an impressive universal remote control that is, in the truest sense of the word, a “universal remote control” and is reality. It is able to give you control in a way that other remote controls cannot, and its code helps you set up your remote controls. The Logitech Harmony 650 remote control replaces 5 of our most commonly used remotes, as it is more powerful and reliable than any other.

After checking the Logitech Harmony 550, I was able to set one of these removers to operate 4 of them and give it 5 stars.

This is a big upgrade from the last version and great, and the whole thing works well with Alexa, so it’s great for working with other accessories for home automation that you might have. If you are looking for a simple and effective universal remote control, the Logitech Harmony 665 will fit you perfectly. What makes it so interesting is that it works in conjunction with all the other remote features you might have had with your previous Harmony removers, such as the Harmony Elite and Harmony 550. So if you have replaced the functionality of your other remote controls with a universal remote control, this is an excellent choice and speaks for itself.

This will help you decide whether you have found the perfect product for yourself and need to keep searching. We will update these to improve the quality of our reviews of the Logitech Harmony 665 Universal Remote and other Logitech products.

The Logitech Harmony 665 is our first choice because it is affordable, easy to use and a great addition to your home entertainment system or home theater system. Review of the Logitech Harmony 765 Universal Remote Control: The Logienec Harmony 565 Universal Remote Control is my first choice because it is easy to use and affordable And it’s a good addition to home audio systems and home theater.

The Logitech Harmony Elite is normally $349, which is quite expensive for a remote control with all the convenience, but it’s worth it. The much lower price means less functionality and connectivity and behaves much more like a home entertainment system or home theater system than the Harmony 565 universal remote control. This is the most complete remote control you can get without paying for a custom system that costs more than $1,000 or even $2,500 for the same amount. And it’s a great addition to your home audio and home theater system, as well as an easy-to-use and affordable option to pay for custom systems that tend to cause more problems than they’re worth.

Logitech Harmony 665 pros and cons

There are a lot of things to like about the Logitech Harmony 665 as a modern universal remote. You get to experience what makes Harmony great, and all while using your own existing devices. It is far more reliable than most Harmony remotes we’ve used. There are several ways to upgrade the Harmony 665 to make it even better:

Build in Wi-Fi — This makes using your Harmony 665 easy on any home router. Your smartphone, tablet, or PC can remotely turn on, turn off, change channels, and manage your TV and other home devices.

Accessory Hub — If you want to connect additional accessories with an accessory hub, you can add those to the Harmony 665 using a Harmony accessory hub, which is available separately. The hub is compatible with just about every new TV device and cable box and digital receiver we’ve tested. We don’t think accessory hubs are necessary, but if you’re a heavy Harmony user you’ll want one.

App Settings — When you install the Harmony app, you can configure the Harmony 665 to control other devices like Nest thermostats, Sonos, or Amazon’s Echo devices. The Harmony app is a better option if you don’t want to worry about managing remote activation to fit your TV content.

The remote itself doesn’t have the greatest picture, but it is small and not hard to use. The buttons are easy to use and show the right buttons on the app. There are no physical buttons for adjusting volume or channel up and down, which is surprising. A smart TV remotes should have this ability. There are little pieces of plastic at the top of the remote which can get jammed up in the settings or jammed by a slipper.

You can use the Harmony app on iOS or Android. Although we can’t say for sure what exactly goes on inside your phone, it is possible that the Harmony app is sending a lot of data from your phone to the Harmony 665 and back to your phone. Your phone probably need an external battery pack or a wall charger, a corded power supply will likely get in the way of setting the Harmony up. If your phone is fully charged, the batteries will last for several hours of use.

It’s a bit annoying to have to be constantly charging the remote. You’ll likely carry it around with you every day, charging it at least once. The batteries are good for around 20 hours of standby time, and you can still use it for quick trips around the house, even if your phone is dead or you don’t have a battery pack.

Echo Connect — If you want to connect your Harmony 665 to an Amazon Echo device, you’ll need to add the Echo Connect. Echo Connect connects your Harmony 665 with your Echo device using an Ethernet cable. The Echo Connect is priced at $35, which is more than double the price of the remote itself. It connects to your Echo device with a plug on the bottom of the Echo Connect. You can get around this by connecting an Echo Dot or Echo Plus instead. If you do choose to connect the Echo Connect to your Echo device, you’ll have to go into the settings to configure it.

A red or blue light will be lit on the Echo Connect, and if you connect the Echo Connect to your Harmony 665 the lights will turn red and blue. Anytime you press the button on the Echo Connect to set up the Harmony, it will be blue and red lights on the Echo Connect and you’ll see the Harmony prompt in the app. The Echo Connect will also sync the Harmony 665 with your Echo device when it is turned on or off.

Final Words

In my honest opinion, this universal remote control really breaks the norm as far as remotes are concerned. Logitech Harmony 665 is the best universal remote in its price range.
